Our Name: Belvi is taken from the Italian word 'belva' meaning wild animal.

Our Mission: Love of coffee and animals are brought together in Belvi Coffee & Tea Exchange, Inc. The quality of coffee is being dramatically compromised for 'fast food' style service. I researched beans, roasting styles and equipment and opened my business only after I believed I had created the best coffee anywhere! Next, animal organizations are the hardest hit in slow economic times and I desperately wanted to help those charities. I combine quality coffee with fundraising by donating 10% of net profits to domestic animal and wildlife charities.

Our Roasting: Coffee should have a complex taste, similar to wine. You should taste a wide range of attributes, such as: caramel, malt, earthy and sweet, depending on the region it was grown in and the experience of the growers. Too light a roast and you get a sour tasting drink. Too dark a roast and you are left with an ashy flavor. At Belvi Coffee Exchange, I do not settle for mass production of mediocre coffee. We small batch roast the best coffee you will find anywhere in the world!
